The Ultrasound Technologist operates Ultrasound equipment to obtain high quality ultrasound examination of various body parts as ordered by the Physician. Prepares patients, processes images and assists Physicians as needed.

Ultrasound Technologist / Ultrasound Tech / Ultrasound

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for:

• Perform ultrasonic diagnostics procedures as directed by physicians.
• Explain procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
• Select appropriate transducer.
• Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment.
• Make hard copy images.
• Document tests.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Order and stock all ultrasound supplies.
• Prepare patients for physician and assists during examination.

Ultrasound Technologist / Ultrasound Tech / Ultrasound

Ultrasound Technologist are required to have the following

• RDMS Certified
• Minimum of 1 (one) year practical experience.
• Successful completion of a formal (Accredited) educational /training program for Radiology and or Medical Imaging.
• CPR Certification required
