Overview

As a strategist, consultant and implementer, the Executive Administrator will handle day-to-day management of personnel to allow the Executive Vice President to focus on maintaining and growing the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an adviser to the COO and senior management team
  • Assist the COO in facilitating effective decision-making
  • Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives
  • Participate and drive value in key internal meetings
  • Lead and manage M&A activity to attain deal value and synergies
  • Provide feedback on key personnel and HR related matters
  • Assist in identifying day-to-day issues and driving resolution
  • Manage key projects and tasks
  • Manage key vendor relationships
  • Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to ensure leadership success
  • Assess inquiries directed to the COO, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage
  • Ensure all staff issues are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and keep track of progress until resolved
  • Ability to travel as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ executive level experience
  • Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
  • Effective, versatile and action-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

 

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
