Help Desk Technician 

 

This entry level IT Help Desk Technician will help support the IT Department in being responsible for maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, assisting end users, and working with operational staff.

  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues:
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
  • Travel between multiple regions for onsite support
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Expected to solve general printing issues, and handle imaging projects to roll out new systems.
  • Troubleshoot all support issues for the company (hardware/software/network)

Qualifications

Help Desk Technician

  • 1 year of experience or 4 year degree
  • Minimum of an associate's degree and certifications in a related area
  • Able and willing to travel up to 20-30% of the time to local centers
  • Able and willing to travel at minimum once a month to Tampa region
  • Minimum basic knowledge of the field’s concepts, practices, environments, and procedures
  • Able to manage and multitask on several projects at once to deliver top level support to our end users.
  • Excellent customer skills are expected at all times to end users by our first line support individuals to create a positive view of the IT dept.
  • Familiarity of Microsoft Domain and Exchange environment
  • Communication of technical and non-technical information to users of all experience levels
  • Support of multi-facility enterprise
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
