Regional Director of Marketing

Akumin is an Outpatient Diagnostic Medical Imaging company experiencing tremendous growth in a highly competitive environment. Akumin is committed to offering a better product, a better service, and an aggressive marketing approach to change referral patterns from one entity to another.  As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a Regional Director of Marketing to lead and coordinate critical processes related to business planning, marketing plans, market development and research. 

Responsibilities

Regional Director of Marketing

  • Works directly with Regional Directors of Operations in their territory to hire, train and develop Account Executives in all areas to accomplish goals and maintain compliance with regulations and policies and procedures.
  • Manages a team of Account Executives to execute an annual marketing plan.
  • support marketing team by actively participating in the implementation of strategies to capture referrals in an ever-changing healthcare environment.
  • Review and approve monthly payroll and marketing expenses.
  • Develops sales programs to promote and develop the various service lines that the agency offers and performs sales with Branch Directors/Staffing Managers.
  • Quantifies and ensures the quality, timeliness, and cost-effective manner in which all marketing programs are implemented. 
  • Oversee the structure and execution of marketing collateral
  • Analyze marketing trends on a monthly basis.
  • Manages the monthly sales meetings to review healthcare compliance, discuss volumes and competitors and promote a team environment.
  • Develops and ensures adherence to the annual budget to forecast performance.
  • Accountable for negotiating contracts, proposals, closing deals, etc.
  • Work closely with Vice President of Marketing recommending programs and budgets for approval.
  • Implements policies developed by the Executive Management while maintaining a liaison between Executive Management and Account Executives.

 

Qualifications

Regional Director of Marketing 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5+ years of business development, marketing, and/or sales experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Must be experienced in business strategy with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop business plans to address achieving the Company's goals.
  • Proven success in establishing and executing business strategies.
  • Proven track record in building collaboration, communication and teamwork across a local and global organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% regionally.
